Not with the Band
Everybody lies on their resume.
It wasn’t supposed to be a big deal.
After a night of heavy drinking commiserating my terrible taste in men, my rock star best friend, Ruby, decides I should apply for the position of manager for her band.
“I’ll teach you as you go,” she said.
“Easy as pie,” she said.
I don’t cook.
And her band already have a manager lined up.
All is not lost because the record label have another band needing
The notorious Goats and Vandals.
Otis, Tobias, Harvey and, worst of all, Calix.
Their reputation precedes them, and now it’s up to me to keep their tour on track and scandal free.
I told the record label I could do it.
I lied.
Now I have to bluff my way through a nationwide tour with a band waiting to self-destruct without losing my mind…or my heart.
